SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR Adds Jaime King & Jamie Chung

Nick Martin April 1, 2013 Add a Comment
King-Chung An upcoming sequel to the 2005 film Sin City, called Sin City: A Dame to Kill For began filming on Monday with two more cast-members familiar with the genre. Jaime King in a returning role and Jamie Chung who replaces Devon Aoki have boarded Sin City 2. Robert Rodriguez and the comic book icon Frank Miller are teaming up once again for the sequel to their original hit adaptation. Sucker Punch's Chung will be taking over in the role of Miho, the Old Town roller-skating assassin, while King, who played Goldie in the 2005 film, will return as Goldie's twin sister Wendy. Rodriguez and Miller also wrote the script for the new movie, which will consist of multiple stories. One of the stories is written specifically for the sequel by Miller. Mickey Rourke is expected to return as Marv even though he was killed in the original film, but this story precedes it (spoiler alert!). Already returning actors are Jessica Alba and Rosario Dawson. Sin City 2 is currently filming at Troublemaker Studios in Austin, but the film still hasn't cast two of its major leads – the role of Ava was intended for Angelina Jolie and Clive Owen may still return as Dwight, but nothing has been confirmed yet. As you may know, one of the storylines, A Dame to Kill For, originally published in 1993 featuring a man named Dwight caught up in a complicated and deadly relationship with an enticing woman named Ava. However, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is slated to open on October 4th, 2013. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For - Teaser Poster Source: THR
