Abrams‘ Star Trek Into Darkness, featuring Zoe Saldana, Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine, thanks to Empire, who promise a lot more Star Trek content in the May issue that will be available on March 28th, so expect more goodies in few days. Check them out below. Star Trek Into Darkness Chris Pine Zoe Saldana Zachary Quinto Also, we have video from the Star Trek light show in London, sending the city into darkness for Earth Hour (a WWF event that turned out the lights in cities around the world to raise awareness about climate change… I doubt it helps much, but that is discussion for another time and place). In any case, no matter the level of your environmental conscience, it is quite cool to see the Star Trek logo light up the sky (powered by green energy, of course). You can have a look, thanks to Collider: Synopsis:
In the wake of a shocking act of terror from within their own organization, the crew of The Enterprise is called back home to Earth. In defiance of regulations and with a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads his crew on a manhunt to capture an unstoppable force of destruction and bring those responsible to justice. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.
Star Trek Into Darkness comes to theaters on May 17th, 2013 and also stars Karl Urban, Benedict Cumberbatch, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, Alice Eve, John Cho and others. Here's a poster of the artist who did them for the film, Matt Ferguson, thanks to cromeyellow.com – in case you've missed it: Star Trek Into Darkness poster by Matt Ferguson
