The Crow

The Crow, a successful 1994 film, will be resurrected in the form of a dark thriller reboot. Having starred in the films It and Hemlock Grove- Bill Skarsgård becomes the lead protagonist Eric Draven, a rock musician who is mercilessly killed alongside his fiancée Shelly. The story unfolds Eric's resurrection and his mission to take out his revenge for his assassination through the territories of the living and the deceased.

Snow White and The Huntsman's director, Rupert Sanders, helms this feature stars FKA Twigs as Shelly, Isabella Wei, Danny Huston, Laura Birn, Sami Bouajila, Jordan Bolger. The script is created by Zach Baylin, Will Scheider, and the film is adapted from the comic book of James O'Barr.

The film's tone is dark and violent, and it also goes by the name of more intense and brutal than its original version, as can be seen in the official trailer. The visuals are stylish and often operatic, especially in their focus on Eric redeeming himself as a vigilante. It also presents one of the main components of the film's plot – the romance between the protagonist, Eric, and the heroine, Shelly.

It is planned to premiere in theaters in the United States and other countries on June 7th, 2024. Audiences who are expecting a reinterpretation of the beloved storyline will enjoy what is presented before them as it has better graphics as well as better-developed characters. For those who have not watched the first one it is a great opportunity to plunge again to the world of The Crow but with completely different vision, it is darker and much more gothic.

The stars and filmmakers are doing their best to prepare a dark thriller for viewers. If the lead characters are Bill Skarsgård and FKA Twigs, then The Crow can undoubtedly be expected to be an unforgettable and intriguing movie experience.
