From Phase 4, the first trailer from director Megan Griffiths‘ harrowing new thriller Eden, has debuted.
Based on a true story, starring Jamie Chung, Matt O'Leary and Beau Bridges, this human trafficking drama follows the titular character, a young Korean-American girl (Chung) who is abducted near her home and sold into a prostitution ring.
Throughout the two years she is held, Eden steadily gains more power and influence over the group that has imprisoned her.
A ‘grim but gripping' film got solid reviews at last year's South by Southwest Film Festival.
Co-written by emerging American filmmaker Griffiths (The Off Hours) Eden will be released in limited theaters starting on March 20th, 2013.
