The Other Woman Trailer and Poster
There will be one more Natalie Portman movie in theaters, besides Black Swan and No Strings Attached where she is expected to be awarded; The Other Woman is the drama based on the Ayelet Waldman novel Love and Other Impossible Pursuits.
The movie seems like one of those modest indies that comes out of festivals, which explains why they have waited that long to put it in theaters.
New poster which features the lead actress in aquarelle pink has gone online. That pretty shade of magenta is quite suitable! The poster is solid enough to present a pastel colored Portman set against a hand drawn city background. Just take a look!
Portman plays a young woman married to an older man whose ex-wife (Lisa Kudrow) is resentful of the new relationship. She's also dealing with the sudden death of her child and the aversion from her stepson (Charlie Tahan). Portman's character is apparently unlikable but also compassionate, which makes another big step forward for the actress who's frequently showing how much talent she has. The newly pregnant and engaged Black Swan star had an awesome2010 and has an even better 2011 with films like No Strings Attached, Thor and Your Highness. We can now add The Other Woman to that list, the film directed by Don Roos (The Opposite of Sex, Bounce and Happy Endings)
The Other Woman debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2009 but will premiere on demand on New Year's Day before its theatrical release February 4.
