If you aren't traveling for Memorial Day Weekend this year, 20th Century Fox celebrate national holiday in great fashion style by offering irresistible Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter trailer.
The day in which citizens think about all of the people who have sacrificed their lives to keep us free, we should also take part of our day to remember that time Abraham Lincoln took an axe and worked to rid the word of the hell-beasts known as vampire.
The studio has also set out a press release announcing that it will be screening the film for thousands of sailors aboard the Navy aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln in June. Said Benjamin Walker about the event:
This is really exciting for me to meet the ABE's crew and screen for them our film Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. I hope it brings them excitement, goodwill and a taste of home.
A touching moment, indeed; as well as the new trailer shows President Lincoln wrote in his journal the following sentences:
Whatever history remembers of me, if it remembers anything at all, it shall only be a fraction of the truth.
For whatever else I am, a husband, a lawyer, a president… I shall always think of myself first and foremost as a hunter.
Opening in theaters on June 22nd, 2012 the Timur Bekmambetov film based on the book by Seth Grahame-Smith also stars Dominic Cooper, Anthony Mackie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jimmi Simpson, Robin McLeavy, Alan Tudyk and Rufus Sewell.
