A hostage situation gone wrong... I have a feeling that we're all a little bit mysterious about the upcoming crime thriller Pawn. Don't know why when this movie definitely deserves our full attention: an interesting story, an awesome cast, what else can you wish for? Trailer from the whole thing, perhaps? Pawn script comes from Jay Anthony White and the movie comes from director David A. Armstrong. Unfortunately, there's still nothing about an official release date, but as usual – we'll keep you updated. In the meanwhile check out this video and take a first look at Armstrong's crime thriller:
The story is about a group of gunmen who try and hold up a diner only to discover that the establishment is owned by the mob. The situation quickly escalates and cops, feds and mafioso are introduced to the hostage situation.
As we previously reported, Pawn has great cast on board which includes Common, Deborah Twiss, Nikki Reed, Ray Liotta, Forest Whitaker, Gabriel Jarret, Jessica Szohr, Jon Lee Brody, Jonathan Bennett, Jordan Belfi, Marton Csokas, Max Beesley, Michael Chiklis, Sean Faris and Stephen Lang.

Looks great! Hope it comes out soon. Only thing I’m unsure about in the trailer is the death-clock analogy, hopefully the movie will fold it in more.
