Here are two TV spots and posters for Oliver Stone‘s Savages.
If anyone asks – I'm not so sure what to think about the whole thing. I mean, this movie has it all – a good director, an interesting story, pretty awesome cast.
It even has Eminem‘s “Til I Collapse” theme song, but it still looks – don't know, kind of boring. I said – kind of! Judge for yourselves…
So, as you already know, Taylor Kitsch, Blake Lively, Aaron Johnson, Benicio Del Toro, Salma Hayek, Demian Bichir, Emile Hirsch, Uma Thurman and John Travolta are all on board for Stone's crime drama which opens this summer.
The movie follows two friends – Ben and Chon who run a lucrative, homegrown industry -raising some of the best marijuana ever developed. They also share a one-of-a-kind love with a girl named Ophelia, and you can almost say that they're life is idyllic…
Until the Mexican Baja Cartel decides to move in and demands that the trio partners with them. And then – well, you know, shit happens…
I just hope that the movie won't turn out to be a disappointment.
Savages opens on July 6th, 2012.
