Watch: SILENT HOUSE TV Spots, Clips and Featurettes
We have added four new TV spots, five clips and two featurettes for the American remake of the Uruguayan film Silent House, a uniquely unsettling horror thriller starring Elizabeth Olsen as Sarah, a young woman who finds herself sealed inside her family’s secluded lake house. With no contact to the outside world, and no way out, panic turns to terror as events become increasingly ominous in and around the house.
Here’s the official synopsis for the film:
Silent House revolves around a young woman named Sarah (Olsen) who is visiting her family’s dilapidated lake house along with her father, when they inexplicably find themselves under attack by mysterious figures who have somehow managed to seal up the building, with the unsuspecting father-daughter pair inside. With no electricity and no means to contact the outside world, an increasingly terrified and battered Sarah attempts to escape, even as she descends into an increasingly-unhinged state of mind.Based on true events, the film is directed by Chris Kentis along with Laura Lau, who also serves as the co-writer and co-producer. Joining Olsen in the cast ensemble are Adam Trese, Eric Sheffer Stevens, Julia Taylor Ross, Haley Murphy and Adam Barnett.
