THE WOLVERINE Japanese Trailer

Nick Martin April 24, 2013 Add a Comment
The Wolverine These days, our senses are bombarded with the comic book adaptations. Let's remain positive and share a new Japanese trailer for James Mangold‘s upcoming movie The Wolverine because that's where the title character will be spending a huge chunk of time. The Japanese title of Wolverine: Samurai is entirely fair as the film finds Hugh Jackman's titular character isolated in modern day Japan where he faces his ultimate nemesis ‘in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed.' The latest trailer for the film is also action-packed with hand-to-hand combat scenes which look good without the heavier reliance on computer graphics. The action adventure also stars Will Yun Lee, Hiroyuki Sanada, Brian Tee, Rila Fukushima, Tao Okamoto and Svetlana Khodchenkova. Christopher McQuarrie and Mark Bomback's adaptation of the classic 1982 story arc hit theaters everywhere July 26th, 2013. Check out the new trailer below.
Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.
