Paramount Pictures is making the effort to begin a viral campaign with a public service announcement warning of the zombie epidemic known as
Crisis Zero.
The former director of the Global Health Agency speaks about the rather serious trouble that is rushing across the planet, sparking violence and horror wherever it goes.
We see footage of violent attacks in Indonesia, eerily empty India villages and general mayhem – no mention of the ‘Z' word though.
Directed by German filmmaker
Marc Forster, the screenplay was written by
Matthew Michael Carnahan and revised by
Damon Lindelof, based on
Max Brooks' beststelling zombie novel ‘
World War Z'.
Action thriller stars
Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, Daniella Kertesz, James Badge Dale, Matthew Fox and
David Morse.
Paramount will release the film in theaters on June 21st, 2013.
