Paramount Pictures has revealed the second poster for director Martin Scorsese‘s Hugo, previously titled Hugo Cabret.
Based on the best-selling children’s historical fiction book by author Brian Selznick, Hugo tells the story of an orphan boy Hugo Cabret (Asa Butterfield) living a secret life in the walls of a Paris train station. With the help of an eccentric girl, he searches for the answer to a mystery linking the father he recently lost, the ill-tempered toy shop owner living below him and a heart shaped lock, seemingly without a key.
Martin Scorsese’s HUGO Short Featurette
Paramount Pictures and GK Films have released this fanstastic short trailer-featurette that gives a behind-the-scenes look at Hugo, the 3D film that will be shown tonight as a surprise addition to the New York Film Festival.

Hey guys, it’s time for a little casting update! Not bad at all, trust us! According to the latest reports, Megan Fox and and John C. Reilly have joined the cast of the upcoming Sacha Baron Cohen comedy, titled The Dictator.

As you already know, The Dictator reunites the Borat and Bruno actor/director duo of Sacha Baron Cohen and Larry Charles and it follows a heroic dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy never comes to the country he lovingly tyrannizes.
First Look at Sacha Baron Cohen in The Dictator
Today we have the first official photo from Larry Charles‘ comedy The Dictator, featuring Sacha Baron Cohen in full costume inspired by Saddam Hussein.
The film tells the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed. It is based on the best selling novel Saddam Hussein wrote, called “Zabibah and the King”.
Ben Kingsley Set to Star in Sacha Baron Cohen’s The Dictator
Ben Kingsley and Sacha Baron Cohen, acquaintances from the mystery film Hugo Cabret (that will be released just in time for Thanksgiving), this time co-star in a new Paramount comedy titled The Dictator.
Cohen’s longtime collaborator Larry Charles, director of both, Borat and Bruno, will direct from a script Cohen co-wrote with fabulous Seinfeld penners Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer and Dave Mandel.
Martin Scorsese’s Hugo Cabret Moved to Thanksgiving
Distribution rights for Martin Scorsese’s 3D adventure, Hugo Cabret have been assigned to Paramount and its release date has been moved up a couple of weeks to November 23, the day before Thanksgiving, best for family-friendly entertainment.
Deadline reports that the film has now put off until a couple of weeks to the very busy and competitive date. “Hugo Cabret” was originally slated to be distributed by Sony Pictures, under GK Films’ output deal. Sony had the film scheduled for a December 9 release and when the studio couldn’t provide demanded Thanksgiving date, Sony Pictures agreed to let GK Films move the picture and Paramount get out of the office to be part of Scorsese’s first 3D film .
Sacha Baron Cohen’s The Dictator For May 11, 2012
Paramount Pictures announced today that Sacha Baron Cohen‘s new comedy The Dictator will be released worldwide on May 11, 2012. The studio also announced that Larry Charles (Borat, Bruno) has come aboard to direct.
This is the project that was first disclosed last April, when the former Seinfeld writers Berg Schaffer and Mandel went around town with Baron Cohen to pitch it. We knew Baron Cohen was going to play dual roles of a dictator and a goat herder, but now there’s a brief summary:

Freddie Mercury Biopic With Sacha Baron Cohen Will Shoot This Year

You all remember that we had a little chat about two upcoming projects, actually two Freddie Mercury biopics.
Today, we’re here to update a whole thing, because one of the projects, which is being scripted by Frost/Nixon writer Peter Morgan, and will follow the band from its early years to its 1985 Live Aid performance, is expected to begin next year.
That’s exactly what Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor have told Queen Online:
“Work is now fully under way for the much-vaunted feature film on the life of Freddie. Peter Morgan has delivered a first draft of the movie, which everyone is very excited about, and Sacha Baron Cohen is chomping at the bit to get into the role, in a way which certainly would delight Freddie!
