You already had a chance to watch the first trailer and clip from the upcoming Welcome To The Punch movie, but now – it’s time to take a (much) better look at the leading cast! 30 new images from the Eran Creevy directed crime thriller have arrived, and as you already see – James McAvoy is the star of this report. Quite logical thing – after all, he plays detective Max Lewinsky who has one last chance to catch the man he has always been after, so make sure you check him out!
So, as we previously reported, the movie is the second feature from British director Eran Creevy (Shifty) which will tell us the story of two arch-nemeses: detective Max Lewinsky and master criminal Jacob Sternwood.
Beside James McAvoy who stars as detective Lewinsky and Mark Strong who plays Jacob Sternwood, this crime-thriller also stars Andrea Riseborough, Elyes Gabel, David Morrissey, Peter Mullan and Daniel Mays.
When Sternwood escaped three years ago after a daring robbery, Max was left emotionally and physically scarred. But after Sternwood’s son turns up in a hospital due to a failed heist, he’s forced to return to London – giving Max his second chance to get the one criminal who got away. Yet as Max delves deeper into the case he uncovers a vast conspiracy…
Welcome To The Punch is set to open in limited theaters on March 15th, 2013.
