The first photos from the set of contemporary musical “Burlesque” have arrived. Click below to enlarge these new images of Christina Aguilera, Cam Gigandet and Cher.
“Burlesque” will revolve around Ali (Christina Aguilera), a small-town girl who tries to pursue her dreams in Los Angeles. After stumbling upon The Burlesque Lounge, a majestic but ailing theater, she lands a job as a cocktail waitress from Tess (Cher), the club's proprietor and headliner. Enraptured by Burlesque's outrageous costumes and bold choreography, the young ingenue vows to perform there one day.
Ali soon befriends a featured dancer, finds an enemy in a troubled, jealous performer and garners the affection of bartender and fellow musician Jack (Cam Gigandet). With the help of a sharp-witted stage manager and gender-bending host, she makes her way from the bar to the stage and restores The Burlesque Lounge to its former glory.
The film is directed by Steve Antin. Additional cast include Eric Dane, Kristen Bell, Julianne Hough and Stanley Tucci.
“Burlesque” will land in cinemas on November 24, 2010.
Excellent news about Christina Aguilera’s world tour including to Britain. I do hope Leona Lewis will appear with christina at the concerts over here.
You never hear anything awful about the Christina Aguilera. She doesn’t seem to be a bimbo airhead like Brit or Paris, I admire her for keeping straight accepting the people she has to work with. Plus, she has a killer voice!
I saw a picture of Christina Aguilera with Nicole Ritchie girls’ night out. Christina looks great. It’s good that the two had fun with other friends.
