Cannes 2012: YOU AIN’T SEEN NOTHIN’ YET by Alain Resnais
You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet or if you prefer the original title – Vous n’avez encore rien vu is an upcoming Alain Resnais‘ movie which is scheduled to compete for Palme d’Or at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
Resnais is definitely familiar with this festival, although he has never won the Palme d’Or in his sixty year career.
I’m quite sure you’re already familiar with his previous titles such as Wild Grass or Private Fears In Public Places, or even better – Hiroshima Mon Amour.
This time, we’ll have a chance to enjoy in a project which centers on a celebrated playwright who gathers together all his friends who have acted over the years in productions of his play “Eurydice.”
In his spectacular mansion, an emotional evening of surprises begin with a video of Eurydice performed by a young theater company…
As you already see from these images – everything looks so classy, which is no wonder especially when the movie has an awesome cast on board.
It includes Sabine Azema, Lambert Wilson, Mathieu Amalric, Michel Piccoli, Pierre Arditi, Anne Consigny, Anny Duperey, Hippolyte Girardot and Denis Podalydes.
We wish Resnais and his team good luck!
