Benedict Cumberbatch Joins del Toro’s CRIMSON PEAK!

Benedict Cumberbatch From Star Trek to Crimson Peak – say hello to Benedict Cumberbatch, 'cause we've just learned that he's set to star in the upcoming haunted house thriller! Cumberbatch will join previously announced Emma Stone and Charlie Hunnam who are already on board to lead Guillermo del Toro‘s next flick! Guillermo del Toro will direct the whole thing from a script he co-wrote with Matthew Robbins and Lucinda Coxon, and at this moment we know that the movie will be a very set-oriented, classical but at the same time modern take on the ghost story. In other words:
The gothic horror story centers on a woman who discovers that her husband may not be whom he appears to be.
As for the above mentioned British actor, there's still nothing about his character, but hey – everything about this movie is one big mystery, so we'll just have to wait for more updates! Let us also add that plans are for filming to begin in February 2014. Don't worry, we'll keep an eye on it!
