This spring, three women will discover the power of friendship. And we'll have a chance to watch that power in the upcoming Black Rock movie, which comes from director Katie Aselton and stars Kate Bosworth, Lake Bell and… well, Aselton as well. There's definitely something disgusting about the isolated places, so in case you ever want to put your friendship on a test – here's a trailer that will teach you how to do that stupid thing.
So, they already describe this movie as a survival horror tale, but I'm not so sure if this movie deserves that horror part after all. I mean, we have three childhood friends who embark on a weekend getaway to the isolated island, only to discover that they are not alone. Big deal!

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing about this story, it actually looks pretty intense, except – it's not convincing enough.
Revenge story? Perhaps. Survival tale? Sure. Horror movie? No, not really.
Anyway, Katie Aselton co-wrote the movie together with Mark Duplass, she also directed the whole thing, and as I said at the beginning she also stars together with Kate Bosworth and Lake Bell.
Black Rock is set to open on May 17th, 2013.
