Gemma Arterton Joins Comedy-Thriller WRIGHT GIRLS

Gemma Arterton A Bond babe, Gemma Arterton, who got lost playing Io in Clash of the Titans 3D and Prince of Persia’s Princess Tamina, is getting the hell away from big action movies. The actress who broke out in the dark indie The Disappearance of Alice Creed and as Strawberry Fields in Quantum of Solace is in talks to star in Wright Girls, a dark comedy-thriller from Relativity and Atlas Entertainment. The film is the remake of a Japanese film called 2LDK that circles around two young thesps who live and work together on a successful television show, while pretending to be best friends off screen. In reality, they detest each other and begin going to violent extremes to eliminate the other as they discover they’re up for the same movie role. The role of the other actress has not been cast, except Megan Fox was reportedly attached at one point, but is now out of the project. The film will be directed by Andy Fickman (You Again) from a script written by Easy A writer Bert Royal. However, British actress Arterton recently wrapped up vampire film Byzantium and she’ll be pairing up with Jeremy Renner for Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters as Gretel.
