Halle Berry is to play a woman suffering from multiple personality disorder in psychological drama ‘Frankie And Alice.'
The Oscar-winning actress will also produce the movie for indie company Access Motion Pictures.
The film sees her character torn between her real self and a racist white alter-ego who is angry at inhabiting the body of a mixed-race woman.
‘Frankie and Alice' is the second independent production for Toronto-based Access Motion Pictures, which recently completed “Phantom Punch,” a Sonny Liston biopic starring Ving Rhames and directed by Robert Townsend.
The role is Berry's first since giving birth to daughter Nahla last month.
No production start date has been set.
