Yes, you've read the headline well, again. We present you this completely different and darker opening into Joss Whedon‘s The Avengers – and I dare you not to wait impatiently for a DVD release afterwards. Without further ado, here it is:
This version perfectly demonstrates the fractured relationship between Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Hill (Cobie Smulders) – something that Whedon mentioned was cut down quite a bit in the editing room. We're guessing the DVD will be stuffed with a lot more tension between these two S.H.I.E.L.D. members.
