Written by Paul Laverty, The Angel's Share follows the fortunes of a new father who tries to make a life for himself by distilling whisky following a close-call with the justice system that almost landed him in prison. Helping him out is a band of fellow community service workers.
John Henshaw, William Ruane, Gary Maitland, Roger Allam, Paul Brannigan, Siobhan Reilly and Jasmin Riggins all star in the movie which will probably have a premiere at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
