Described as a creepy psychological thriller with an awesome cast on board, Sebastian Silva‘s latest horror pic Magic Magic is finally set to hit DVD this August. Written and directed by Silva, the movie revolves around a vacationing young woman who begins to mentally unravel while her friends ignore her claim until it's too late.
Or, if you prefer the official synopsis:
Alicia arrives in Chile on her first trip out of the United States. As she visits her friend Sarah, she tries to fit into a different world – all while slowly losing her mind. She must contend with the surreal, unfamiliar countryside of Chile, the always delicate, sometimes dismissive treatment of Sarah's boyfriend Agustin and friends and the vague antagonism of a complex character named Brink.
As for the above mentioned awesome cast, the movie stars Juno Temple as Alicia, Emily Browning as her friend Sarah, and Michael Cera as Agustin. The rest of the cast also includes Catalina Sandino Moreno and Agustín Silva.
Magic Magic is set to go straight to DVD on August 6th, 2013.
