The latest Man of Steel trailer titled ‘Fate of Your Planet' begins with an unclear image of General Zod (played by Michael Shannon) delivering a threatening message to planet Earth.
Man of Steel will soar into theaters on June 14th, 2013.

- Superman coughing up blood
- Superman flying through that collapsing building
- Scary tri-pod ship hovering right over Metropolis

And many more … This most action-packed promo makes it clear that Supes is a force not to be trifled in. However, the mad Kryptonian dictator General Zod definitely ranks as one of Superman's great villains.
The upcoming action adventure directed by Zack Snyder stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, Russell Crowe, Michael Kelly, Harry Lennix and Richard Schiff.
