I'm sure you know everything about this project, but let's repeat some story details once again. The movie tells the haunting tale of two little girls Victoria and Lilly who disappeared into the woods the day that their parents were killed. They are rescued years later and begin a new life, but they soon find that someone or something still wants to come tuck them in at night.
What really happened? Five years ago, sisters vanished from their suburban neighborhood without a trace. Since then, their Uncle Lucas and his girlfriend Annabel have been searching for them. But when the kids are found alive in a decrepit cabin, Lucas and Annabel wonder if the girls are the only guests they have welcomed into their home.
The normal life? Looks like that's not going to happen after all, because an evil is in their house. Are the sisters experiencing traumatic stress, or is a ghost coming to visit them? How did the broken girls survive those years all alone?
As she answers these disturbing questions, the new mother will find that the whispers she hears at bedtime are coming from the lips of a deadly presence.
Nikolaj Coster – Waldau stars as Uncle Lucas, Jessica Chastain is Annabel and the rest of the cast includes Megan Charpentier and Isabelle Nellsse.
Mama is set to open on January 18th, 2012.
