Sony Pictures Classics has provided us with new poster for Don Cheadle and Brendan Gleeson‘s upcoming comedy The Guard.
The Guard is a comedic, fish out of water tale of murder, blackmail, drug trafficking and rural police corruption, and the two cops who must join forces to take on an international drug-smuggling gang, an unorthodox Irish policeman and a straitlaced FBI agent.
Along with Cheadle and Gleeson the film also stars Mark Strong, Liam Cunningham, Fionnuala Flanagan, David Wilmot, Rory Keenan, Pat Shortt and Katarina Cas.
The Guard, written and directed by John Michael McDonagh will be released to limited theaters on July 29th, 2011.
