Fox Searchlight is asking for your help in choosing the best poster for their upcoming Notorious BIG biopic, entitled “Notorious” and are letting fans decide which one will be the official poster. Unfortunately, the contest is now over, but you can still check out the three posters.
Why they don’t just release all three, I cannot say.
Bio-pic on the tumultuous life, sudden rise to fame, and eventual death of the rapper known as Notorious B.I.G. (real name: Christopher Wallace), played by newcomer Jamal Woolard, who came straight out of Brooklyn to take the world of rap music by storm, before being gunned down by an assassin in 1997.
Notorious is directed by producer and filmmaker George Tillman Jr. (Soul Food, Men of Honor). The screenplay was written by Reggie Rock Bythewood (Get on the Bus, Biker Boyz) and Cheo Hodari Coker. Starring Derek Luke, Anthony Mackie, Jamal Woolard, Angela Bassett, Naturi Naughton, Antonique Smith, Sean Ringgold, Marc John Jefferies, Kevin Navayne, and Charles Malik Whitfield, Ginger Kroll
Fox Searchlight is distributing Notorious and will be premiering it in limited theaters starting on January 16th, 2009.
