Official Poster & Trailer For Gothic Thriller THE MONK, Starring Vincent Cassel!
Dominik Moll‘s gothic thriller The Monk finally has a release date – the movie will hit (limited) theaters next month! In case you’re not so familiar with the whole thing, let us right here at the beginning inform you that it follows Vincent Cassel‘s Capuchin Ambrosio, a well-respected monk in Spain and his downfall. Dominik Moll directed the movie from a script he co-wrote with Anne-Louise Trividic and the whole thing is based on Matthew Lewis‘ gothic novel of the same name which follows the rise and fall of a Capuchin Monk in 17th century Madrid.
Beside Vincent Cassell who plays Capucino Ambrosio, The Monk cast also includes Deborah Francois, Sergi López, Josephine Japy and Catherine Mouchet, and as we said – the movie is set to hit limited theaters on March 8th, 2013.
