Orlando Bloom, Imogen Poots and Kerry Condon Join The Laureate

Fiona February 20, 2012 1 comment
Imogen Poots Orlando Bloom, Imogen Poots and Kerry Condon have all joined the cast of the upcoming William Nunez's feature film debut titled The Laureate. When we have this kind of project, and we already know that it's about poet Robert Graves, then it's quite logical Bloom will have an honor to portray the iconic British poet, right? As we said, the film is written and directed by William Nunez, and follows the life of Robert Graves, his wife Nancy Nicholson and poet Laura Riding (Imogen Poots). Apparently the writer had an open relationship with the two women, and they all lived together for quite some time, until Graves began to like Riding better.

Kerry Condon will play Nancy Nicholson, while Imogen Poots will play Laura Riding. Director Nunez says that: “At its core, ‘The Laureate' will be a study of intense relationships: what created them, what can undo them, what they encompass, what they can alter, and what they can't.” According to the latest reports, there's still no word on when filming will start, although Media 8 will start to lure buyers at the European Film Market next month. What do you think about the cast for The Laureate?
