The
Toronto International Film Festival displays a selection of films from all over the world (we reported already about some of them), and the latest batch of images released from genre-flavored fare in the Midnight Madness and Vanguard sections all revolve around films from the U.K.
Among them is
Pusher, a London-set remake of
Nicolas Winding Refn‘s 1996 debut in Danish language. The story follows a London's drug pusher, who's life spins out of control over the course of one week.
Already remade once (in India) and sequelized twice by the director, this remake stars
Richard Coyle (Prince of Persia),
Zlatko Buric, who starred in the original, and model
Agyness Deyn. It is directed by
Luis Prieto, and features a score by dance act Orbital.
