Focus Features has released the first poster for the upcoming romantic comedy with the apocalyptic theme Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, starring Golden Globe Award winner Steve Carell and Academy Award nominee Keira Knightley.
The hero of this romantic comedy, humor, although the deal could not be serious theme of the apocalypse, is a man (Steve Carell) who was abandoned by his wife panicked at the news that humanity is in danger of extinction and which receives a letter bizarre to his girlfriend during high school, which is required to spend their last days of life in this company. Accompanied by a beautiful young neighbor (Keira Knightley), who begins to have feelings for more than friendly, middle-aged man embarks on a long journey by car to rejoin the woman who had lost touch for many years.
Movie, directed by debutant director Lorena Scafaria, also stars Connie Britton, Adam Brody, Rob Corddry, Rob Huebel, Gillian Jacobs, Derek Luke, Melanie Lynskey, T.J. Miller, Patton Oswalt and William Petersen.
Seeking a Friend for the End of the World comes to theaters April 20th, 2012.
