Viggo Mortensen did time in Venezuela and Argentina, and here he's playing two roles in this thriller. I apologize as there are no English subtitles, but it doesn't matter, you will catch the drift as soon as you see it.
The Argentinian film Everybody Has a Plan (original title Todos Tenemos Un Plan) is directorial debut of Ana Piterbarg, from her own script that tells the story of ‘a man desperate to abandon his unfulfilling existence after years of living in Buenos Aires. Following the death of his identical twin brother Pedro, Agustín sets out to begin his life anew, by assuming Pedro's identity and returning to the mysterious Tigre Delta region, a maze of islands and rivers that once served as a recreational playground for the Buenos Aires elite, but is now a refuge for Argentina's outcasts and criminals. But as you'll see in the trailer, things go awry.'
Academy and Golden Globe Award-nominated Mortensen will next be seen playing American novelist William S. Burroughs in a long-awaited film On the Road, based on the book by Jack Kerouac.
Everybody Has a Plan hits theaters in Argentina on August 30th and will open internationally via 20th Century Fox.
