A new poster for Taken 2 was revealed via IMPAwards. Liam Neeson returns as former CIA Operative Bryan Mills. This time out, Mills and his wife are kidnapped, and the only one that can save them is their daughter.
In the first film Mills had to rescue his daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) from a group of international sex traffickers and now, in the sequel, the father of one of the kidnappers swears revenge and takes Bryan and his wife hostage during their family vacation in Istanbul. As a result Bryan enlists Kim to help them escape, and uses the same advanced level of special forces tactics to get his family to safety and systematically take out the kidnappers one by one.
Famke Janssen, Luke Grimes, and Rade Serbedzija round out the cast. Luc Besson is back, as co-writer and producer.
Directed by Olivier Megaton (Colombiana),Taken 2 will arrive on October 5th, 2012.
