IFC Films has released the US theatrical trailer for Australian drama Sleeping Beauty, written and directed by Julia Leigh and starring Emily Browning (Sucker Punch) Emily plays a young university student, Lucy, who joins a mysterious and creepy high-end pros****n service that specializes in bizarre fetishes.
Synopsis
“A haunting erotic fairy tale about Lucy, a student who drifts into prostitution and finds her niche as a woman who sleeps, drugged, in a ‘Sleeping Beauty chamber' while men do to her what she can‘t remember the next morning.”
Additional cast include Michael Dorman, Mirrah Foulkes, Rachael Blake, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Joel Tobeck, Tammy McIntosh and Henry Nixon.
Sleeping Beauty premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, and is being released in limited theaters on December 2nd, 2011.
