Tamil filmmaker
Srinath Ramalingam, who co-worked on indie films such as
Moby Dick and M.I.L.F. has made his first feature film titled Trapped In Abyss (TIA).
Ramalingam also co-produce and co-wrote the film with
Shabeer Sinnalebbe. TIA revolves around a gang which gets trapped in a store and tries to save their souls, while an evil force works to push them to a breaking point.
The film stars
Paranormal Activity's
Amber Armstrong along with lesser known
Bobby Hicks, Antonia Villalon, Iris Karina and
Shihab Sinnalebbe.
Ramalingam, who plans to send the flick to a dozen film festivals, said:
TIA is an independent feature that was shot in order to honour guerilla filmmakers. This production is completely targeted at audiences who like horror films and thrillers. We made this because we are passionate about doing what we love to do.

Andy(Hicks), Jackie(Villalon) and Dev(Sinnalebbe) while driving around the deserted Ghost Town of California, decides to break into a Super market in order to achieve a robbery. All three hide inside the cooler and begins their robbery while the store is closed. During their robbery, a negative force turns their plan into misery. All three who gets trapped in a store tries to save their souls, while an evil force works to push them to a breaking point. Meanwhile Andy's mother who is keen on searching her son shares an interesting piece of information with the reporter (Armstrong). Reporter decides to track down the puzzle and figure out what has happened in Ghost Town, California.
