As usual, we will once again remind you that Wingard directed the movie from a script written by Simon Barrett, and the official synopsis goes like this:
When a gang of masked, ax-wielding murderers descend upon the Davison family reunion, the hapless victims seem trapped…until an unlikely guest of the family proves to be the most talented killer of all.
Starring Sharni Vinson, AJ Bowen, Amy Seimetz, Barbara Crampton, Wendy Glenn and Rob Moran, the movie is set to hit theaters on August 23rd, 2013.
