Japanese Mission: Impossible 4 Trailer

Allan Ford December 14, 2011 1 comment
Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible 4 - Ghost Protocol A Japanese trailer for the upcoming “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” has appeared online. One minute and 30 seconds  preview is packed with explosions, car chases, hand-to-hand combat — and Tom Cruise hanging from 2,000 feet in the air as he scales the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa in Dubai. This is not just another mission. The IMF is shut down when it's implicated in a global terrorist bombing plot. Ghost Protocol is initiated and Ethan Hunt and his rogue new team must go undercover to clear their organization's name. No help, no contact, off the grid. You have never seen a mission grittier and more intense than this.

Returning to the franchise are Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, and Ving Rhames, also starring Paula Patton as a female operative, Vladimir Mashkov (Behind Enemy Lines) as a Russian agent, Josh Holloway plays a member of the Impossible Mission Force led by Ethan Hunt, and Jeremy Renner plays just as big a role as Cruise because there won't be a team of agents, but two leads, played by Cruise and Renner. Michael Nyqvist, the actor seen in the Swedish adaptation of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, will play the calculating villain. Director Brad Bird led the helming duties based on a script by Josh Applebaum & Andre Nemec, based on a story that J.J. Abrams wrote with them. “Mission: Impossible 3” director J.J. Abrams also is back as a producer. Mission: Impossible 4 hits IMAX theaters on December 16th, 2011.

Looks like the perfect summer action movie, but December will do just fine. :)
