Today, we have another lovely poster for the upcoming 3D CG action-adventure comedy Epic, which opens this May. And, once again – they invite us to discover a world! Who can say no to an invitation like this, when we know that the whole thing comes from the creators of Ice Age and Rio…?
Described as a battle deep in the forest between the forces of good and evil, this action adventure is actually based on William Joyce‘s children book The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs.
It will center on a teenage girl who finds herself in a secret world, where she must help a team of fun and whimsical characters to save their world, which also saves the real world.
Epic comes from director Chris Wedge, the voice cast includes Beyonce Knowles, Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfried, Johnny Knoxville, Aziz Ansari, Pitbull, Jason Sudeikis, Steven Tyler, Blake Anderson, Judah Friedlander, and the movie is set to open on May 24th, 2013.

Epic tells the story of an ongoing battle deep in the forest between the forces of good and the forces of evil. When a teen age girl finds herself magically transported into this secret universe, she must band together with a rag-tag team of fun and whimsical characters in order to save their world…and ours.
