Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker is to replace Demi Moore as feminist icon Gloria Steinem in the film Lovelace, about the pioneering porn star Linda Lovelace, just days after Moore was rushed to hospital for what her reps described as exhaustion.

LOVELACE Porn Bio-Pic Adds Adam Brody, Demi Moore
Instead of a rival biopic entitled Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story that is set to be written and directed by Matthew David Wilder and Malin Akerman is attached to play the leading role, Lovelace is based on Eric Danville’s biography ‘The Complete Linda Lovelace’ and is set to be directed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman from an original screenplay by Andy Bellin.
Amanda Seyfried is attached in the title role of Linda Lovelace opposite Peter Sarsgaard as Lovelace’s husband, Chuck Traynor. In addition, Adam Brody, Demi Moore and Eric Roberts have now joined them.
Lovelace Cast Bulks up Four
Firstly, Hank Azaria (Love and Other Drugs) is set to play Jerry Damiano, director of the infamous 1972 porn film Deep Throat, while Bobby Cannavale (Win Win) and Chris Noth (The Good Wife) will play the movie’s financial backers Butchie Peraino and Anthony Romano. Robert Patrick (Jayne Mansfield’s Car) joins as Linda’s father.

Anyone who likes “Sex and the City” for the clothes will be in heaven here. If Patricia Field actually had a $10 million costume budget, you can see where every dollar went; the women change in practically every scene, going from one gorgeously inappropriate ensemble to the next. Carrie’s outfits are especially outlandish; in 10 years, in “Sex and the City 12,” there will surely be a flashback to the crazy getup she chooses for a jaunt to the spice bazaar where she meets a romantic figure from her past. 9 Sex and the City 2 Clips
Michael Patrick King ’s new movie Sex and the City 2 hits theaters on May 27th, and Warner Brothers has begun airing clips for the film.
Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda take another bite out of the Big Apple in the sequel to the 2008 blockbuster. Returning in their starring roles, as the four great friends are Sarah Jessica Parker,Kim Cattrall , Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon. Of course, where would these women be without their men? Also back for the much-anticipated sequel are Chris Noth as Mr. Big, David Eigenberg as Steve, Evan Handler as Harry, Jason Lewis as Smith, Mario Cantone as Anthony and Willie Garson as Stanford Blatch. Miley Cyrus and Penelope Cruz also have a brief cameo in the film.
28 New Sex And The City 2 Images!
Movie Photo Gallery has been updated with 28 new high resolution images from the upcoming Sex And The City 2 (SATC2).
SATC 2 is the follow-up to the first film and was inspired by the phenomenally popular, award-winning HBO series based on the writings of Candace Bushnell and is set two years after we last saw Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and her friends and brings the girls out of their beloved New York on a trip of Morocco.
Apparently happily married to husband Mr Big (Chris Noth), it is not known why Carrie decides to abandon him for a girlie trip to Marrakech with Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) and Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon).
