“Cloverfield 2″ Not Arriving Soon
For those of you anxious for another possible dose of motion induced nausea, you can put away your medication, it looks like the “Colverfield” sequel isn’t happening anytime soon.
Revealing about the decision was director Matt Reeves in an interview at the Saturn Awards in Universal City, California, on June 24.
“The thing that we sort of promised ourselves is we only wanted to do another one if we could come up with something that felt as fresh to us to make as that one did,” shared the co-creator of television drama “Felicity”.
‘X-Men 4′ - First Details

A good news is coming to the Marvel’s fans as latest report suggests that following “X-Men: The Last Stand” and the upcoming spin-off “X-Men Origins: Wolverine“, a new “X-Men” movie will be made. In fact, it is said that the script is being developed by Josh Schwartz, the creator of hit television teen drama “Gossip Girl“.
The outing of the speculation has allegedly been done by Schwartz himself when he talked to Black Book Magazine. Reportedly stating that the new installment will be “a prequel of sorts”, the screenwriter of “The O.C.” revealed his involvement by stating, “I’m very well aware that I’ll be bludgeoned by purists, but I love its mythology, and it comes with a pretty hefty paycheck.” The 31-year-old scribbler further confessed that the new film will resolve around a teenager who is attending the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning. ‘Cloverfield’ director delays sequel
Matt Reeves has revealed that a sequel to Cloverfield will be delayed while he makes The Invisible Woman.
Studio Paramount began talks with Reeves, producer J.J. Abrams and screenwriter Drew Goddard earlier in the year to make a sequel to the hit monster movie.
However, Reeves told MTV that he would direct The Invisible Woman before any Cloverfield sequel.
He described The Invisible Woman as a “kind of a Hitchcockian thriller, in the vein of Marnie, about this woman that gets so desperate to save her family that she goes to crazy lengths and enters a life of crime”.

Cloverfield Monster in Action
Still haven’t seen “Cloverfield” yet? Still wondering what the monster in the movie looks like? Okay, so you maybe you’re not wondering that last part so much, since I already showed you what the monster looks like.
Now the studio has released a minute long clip from the movie that shows parts of the monster as it goes through New York, soldiers shooting at it, and the idiot with the camcorder shouting “Oh my God” so much I wanted to reach into the screen and slap him.

Watch The First Four Minutes Of ‘Cloverfield’
There’s been plenty of hype for the new feature film from JJ Abrams, the man behind hit TV series Lost and Alias. And here’s a little taster …
The first trailers for Cloverfield debuted six months ago and were, as you’d expect, fairly cryptic. Rather than climaxing with the name of the film, the screen simply presented a date: “01.18.08″ (for the US release) and a line revealing that Abrams was producing. Since then it has slowly become clear that this is an apocalyptic monster-hits-New York tale, with street-level, Blair Witch-style shaky handheld cameras replacing the usual panoramic helicopter shots of the Big Apple’s destruction.
