“A Nightmare on Elm Street” Trailer Arrives Online!
The first trailer for the forthcoming “A Nightmare on Elm Street,” a reboot of the classic franchise, has debuted via Myspace.
After being burned alive by a mob of angry parents, a pre-school gardener/caretaker named Freddy returns for revenge against the children, now 18 years old, that accused him of sexual abuse. But was Freddy a child molester or was he falsely accused? This is the central question and main addition to the film’s plot. Freddy doesn’t have many lines, but that isn’t all that surprising considering that the film’s producers have said the character doesn’t joke around.
The remake stars Jackie Earle Haley, Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner, Thomas Dekker, Kellan Lutz, Katie Cassidy and Connie Britton. Director Samuel Bayer helmed from a screenplay by Wesley Strick.
Brand New Jennifer’s Body Poster and Featurette
A brand new international poster and behind-the-scenes featurette from “Jennifer’s Body” has been unleashed.
It’s the tale of a high school cheerleader (Megan Fox), screwed over by a visiting rock band, who becomes possessed by a demon and begins to feed off of the fellas in her town.
“Jennifer’s Body” is the new horror comedy from director Karyn Kusama (Aeon Flux) and Oscar winning writer Diablo Cody. Stars Megan Fox, Amanda Seyfried, Adam Brody, J.K. Nightmare On Elm Street Poster
We’ve just added the first official image of Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger from “A Nightmare on Elm Street” and today we’ve got the first poster for the remake of the 1984 horror classic directed by Wes Craven. Take a look below.
The new movie is directed by first-time filmmaker Samuel Bayer from the script by Wesley Strick, later revised by Eric Heissere.
The horror icon Freddy Krueger (Jackie Earle Haley) is a serial-killer who wields a glove with four blades embedded in the fingers and kills people in their dreams, resulting in their real death in reality.
“A Nightmare on Elm Street” which also stars Thomas Dekker, Kyle Gallner, Kellan Lutz, Rooney Mara, Katie Cassidy and Connie Britton is scheduled to hit theaters on April 16, 2010.
