Andrew Dominik Talks About BLONDE, Naomi Watts Still Attached To Play Marilyn Monroe?

Andrew Dominik Biopic madness is still on in Hollywood, you have nothing to worry about! I mean, just in case you want to know even more about Marilyn Monroe, here comes Blonde movie, and as you probably already remember, Killing Them Softly helmer Andrew Dominik will stand behind the whole thing. The good thing is that this project is definitely going to be Dominik's next film, and yes, it looks that previously rumored Naomi Watts is still attached to portray the legendary actress! So, let's get straight to the point. First of all, I'm sure you know that Blonde will be based on Joyce Carol Oates‘ novel of the same name which:
…reimagines the inner, poetic, and spiritual life of Norma Jeane Baker – the child, the woman, the fated celebrity and idolized blonde the world came to know as Marilyn Monroe.
Or, as director Dominik explained in an interview with The Playlist:
It starts when she's seven and it ends when she dies. It's sort of a Polanski descent-into-madness-type movie. It's about this orphan girl who gets lost in the woods.
Naomi Watts This definitely sounds interesting, especially when we add a previous description of the movie – an emotional nightmare fairy tale. In other words – the lines between fantasy and reality become very blurred in the story. As we mentioned at the beginning of this report, Dominik's also confirmed that Naomi Watts is still attached to play the lead, although he added that anything can happen. Well, we're definitely excited about Blonde, which will likely shoot next year, so we'll keep an eye on it. In the meanwhile, let us know what you think about the whole thing, are you even interested in another biopic?
