First Movie Titles for Berlinale 2012 Announced

Berlinale 2012 In case you forgot, it's time for the 62nd annual Berlin International Film Festival! Actually not yet, it's scheduled to be held from 9 February to 19 February 2012 but now is the perfect moment to continue our little chat about the whole thing. We previously shared that British director Mike Leigh is the President of the Jury and now let's take a look at the first titles announced by the 2012 Berlin International Film Festival. The Flowers of War aka the most expensive Chinese movie ever made is one of the movies that will make its European premiere out of competition. Directed by Zhang Yimou movie stars Christian Bale. Captured directed by Brillante Mendoza starring Isabelle Huppert will premiere at Berlinale in competition. Antonio Chavarrias directed Dictado (Dictation) will also be in competition category. Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close by Stephen Daldry with Tom Hanks, Sandra Bullock, Max von Sydow, Thomas Horn will have its international premiere out of competition. Not a bad start!
