First Poster For SNOWPIERCER

Nick Martin February 6, 2013 Add a Comment
Snowpiercer - Quad Poster The premiere of Bong Joon-ho‘s sci-fi thriller Snowpiercer keeps getting closer and after some concept art and the first official image, the first poster arrived, which offers a glance of the highly-anticipated film. New science fiction post-apocalyptic film Snowpiercer, based on the French graphic novel ‘Le Transperceneige,' is set in a future where, ‘after a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snow Piercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system evolves on the train but a revolution brews.' The Bong Joon-ho's English-language debut, which stars Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer, Ewen Bremner, Alison Pill and Ed Harris, as well as John Hurt who's staring at us from the quad poster and Song Kang-ho from a recent image, has received a lot of attention ever since. Snowpiercer is expected to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival, and The Weinstein Company is planning a wide summer 2013 release for the film. Here's the first low-res poster with a dark image of a man standing in a train full of gritty passengers. Snowpiercer - Poster Source: Twitch
