Paul Walker As AGENT 47 In HITMAN Reboot
The Fast and the Furious Paul Walker will replace Tymothy Olyphant (Justified) in Agent 47, Fox's reboot of 2007s Hitman, the live action film adaptation of the hit Square Enix video game.
The film comes from a script by Michael Finch and A Good Day To Die Hard‘s Skip Woods who also wrote the original and is being helmed by commercial director Aleksander Bach who will be making his big-screen directorial debut.
Agent 47 follows a 2007 film that starred Olyphant as the genetically engineered elite assassin with the barcode tattooed on the back of his bald head. Therefore, Walker will shave his head and make this his first big film after Fast 6.
The film will shoot in Berlin and Singapore this June. The hopes are that Walker will help reboot become a franchise-starter.
The original Hitman film made over $100 million worldwide and another $27 million in DVD sales and Fox International Productions believes that there's potential to increase those numbers in Agent 47 in foreign markets.
So why the hell not?
