Just in case you're interested to hear what James McAvoy plans to do next, we're here to report that he's going to star in Welcome to the Punch, an upcoming Eran Creevy‘s project that's already being described as a crime thriller.
And, it's kind of official thing as well, because that's exactly what McAvody revealed on CNN‘s Piers Morgan Tonight.
If you're not so familiar with Creevy's previous work, we're here to explain the thing with Welcome to the Punch.
Creevy made an exceptional debut a couple of years ago with Shifty, drama that starred Daniel Mays as a man returning to his home town to discover that his best friend, the titular Shifty, played by Riz Ahmed, had become a coke dealer.
This time Creevy is ready to work again with Shifty producers Rory Aitken and Ben Pugh, and he already describes this new project as “Shifty meets Michael Mann meets The Last Boy Scout.”
It will follow “a London detective, Max Lewinsky whose old nemesis, an armed robber known as Red Diesel, reappears after five years away – but it's only the tip of a massive conspiracy.”
We guess that McAvoy is on board to play Max Lewinsky, but we're definitely interested to hear who will star next to him, as soon as possible. According to the latest reports, filming on Welcome to the Punch is expected to begin in July, so make sure to stay tuned for more updates!
