Two new photos from Machete 2 aka Machete Kills, the upcoming action comedy movie directed by Robert Rodriguez and starring Danny Trejo, William Sadler and Antonio Banderas have released online.
Michelle Rodriguez, Sofia Vergara, Amber Heard, Charlie Sheen, Lady Gaga, Jessica Alba, Demián Bichir, Alexa Vega, Vanessa Hudgens, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Marko Zaror, and Mel Gibson are also featured in the second film in a trilogy. As he did in the 2010 orginal, Trejo portrays as an ex-Federale agent. In the sequel, he's recruited by the President of the United States to take down a madman revolutionary and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer — portrayed by Gibson — who has hatched a plan to spread war and anarchy. Sheen is billed as Carlos Estevez.
Machete Kills will have its world premiere on September 19th as the opening night film for Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas, followed by a domestic launch October 11th, 2013.
