The Starving Games is getting bigger. First, we learned that Brant Daugherty will play the spoof version of Gale (Liam Hemsworth's character from The Hunger Games), and now comes the word that Maiara Walsh is on board for the whole thing as well. As the female lead, of course! So, we're here to present you lady Kantmiss Evershot, the spoof version of Jennifer Lawrence's character Katniss Everdeen!
As we previously reported, The Starving Games is Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer‘s The Hunger Games parody which will follow Daughtery's character, a brooding teen heartthrob in the mold of Hemsworth‘s character Gale in the original movie.
The good thing (I guess) is that parodies won't be limited to the world of Suzanne Collins' Panem but will incorporate other recent big screen hits like The Avengers, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.
