Wildwood Inn is an upcoming directorial debut of actor Christopher McDonald, and of course, we are talking about a romantic drama.
So, no wonder we already have Malin Akerman attached to star in this project, right?
On the other hand, at this moment, we have no idea who will co-star in the whole thing, but at one point, Jim Sturgess had been rumored for the male lead. Still, it looks that he's definitely not going to star in “Wildwood” after all.
The story will center on “two young couples dissatisfied with their marriages who discover they both stay in the same mountain cabin each year, at alternate times, and they begin to explore relationships outside of their marriage via the cabin's welcome journal.”
So, as you see, we'll have a chance to watch another relationship exploring, or something like that. And, we're quite surprised that Sturgess is not on board, after all he's not a stranger when it comes to rom-coms, and I'm sure you're already familiar with his upcoming romance One Day, where he stars alongside Anne Hathaway.
At the end, let us also mention that the movie is written by Jon and Lisa Vandergriff (duo behind Home Improvement and Sabrina The Teenage Witch).
