Vancouver thesp Michael Eklund is buzzing around the Brad Anderson's upcoming thriller, The Call, which will see him co-star alongside Halle Berry and Abigail Breslin.
Justina Machado (Six Feet Under) has recently also joined Anderson's indie thriller, which is currently filming in Los Angeles.
Rich D'Ovidio (Exit Wounds) penned the script, based on a three-hander original story by him, Nicole D'Ovidio and Jon Bokencamp.
The story finds Eklund as a serial killer who kidnaps a girl (Breslin) with Berry as an ex-cop now stuck answering the 911 phones who is drawn into the case.
Eklund can be seen next in Doug Aarniokoski's post apocalyptic thriller The Day, opposite Dominic Monaghan.
