Although I'm a huge fan of
Monsters Inc. the teaser trailer for
Monsters University does not impress me.
It follows Mike Wazowski (
Billy Crystal) and Sully (
John Goodman) in their college days, with parties and pranks.
As you probably know this will be a prequel which means we won't see Boo at all and without her in it, simply it won't be the same.
Yeah, yeah, I must admit that Mike as disco ball is pretty funny.
There are actually four different versions of teaser, each with a different line spoken by Mike in his sleep…so, you won't miss anything.
“Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn't always the case.
From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn't stand each other. Monsters University unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.”
The movie will be released in 3D and
Dan Scanlon is in charge for directing the whole thing which is set to open on June 21st, 2013.
